What is UHMW-PE ?

Ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene, the molecular weight is above 1.5million, it is a new kind of engineering plastic. It has extremely long chains, so with more competitive features:
● Abrasive Resistant
● High impact strength, it is 10 times than PA66
● Absorption of shock and noise
● Low coefficient of friction and self-lubricating
● Chemical resistant (Excluding oxidizing acids)
● Service temperature is from - 265℃ to +100℃
● FDA compliant
● Low moisture absorption and non-stick
With high molecular weight,the melt flowing rate is almost "0". The process is very difficult. And the common way of process is  compression moulding.
Widely used in coal, chemical industry, transportation, port, paper making, food machinery, textile, medical treatment, package ,sport etc.
