Analysis and solution of the cause of Conveyor roller failure (Part 4)

The rapid damage of the bracket on the center of the adjustment bracket: the original function of the center is to adjust the core when the material on the belt is deflated. However, due to the lack of experience in the installation and debugging of many belt machines, the tape became "congenital" running deviation, and the frictional friction between the roller and the adhesive tape was completely used to rectify the deviation. This phenomenon is not only caused the running resistance increase after the power loss increase, roller and adhesive tape is also rapid wear and tear, and also seriously affect the roller, reducer, motor and other parts of life. There is also a lot of enterprises that the tape runs to be serious, simply use the wire to use the core to adjust the stent to fix a large Angle, causing the roller tube body to be worn around a month or so.

The solution is simple: to readjust the belt machine, it is necessary to meet the no-load operation. Also cannot install the core bracket, install the stop bracket on the fixed bracket to prevent the belt running, and not increase the resistance, the roller and the tape are not abnormal wear.

 

V forward support roller damage also is faster: V forward stents are installed on the roller, and always run in the friction between tape, although leaning Angle is small, but according to the observation of the practice, the tube body erosion rate is fixed on about 2 times of roller, the service life of the natural low 1 times the left and right sides.

Solution: with the same method as above, the belt machine must be readjusted to meet the no-load operation. Also cannot install the forward leaning bracket, install the stop bracket on the fixed bracket to prevent the belt to run, and not increase the resistance, the roller and the tape are not abnormal wear.

 

There are two reasons for the short-term damage of the buffer roller:

1. Due to the large dust of the feeding point, the sealing performance of the buffer roller is very easy to be damaged by pollution.

2. The buffer rubber ring is mainly made of recycled rubber. It is not only poor in elasticity, abrasion resistance, tear resistance and aging resistance. The impact hour, the service life is only about 1 year; when the impact is large, it will break off in more than ten days, causing serious injury to the tape. In a helpless situation, many belt machines began to use the expensive slow presses.

At present, our company has solved two key problems:

1) the new labyrinth seal ensures that the bearing will never be contaminated, and the bearing can last more than 100,000 hours:

2) the rubber ring shall be replaced by automobile tire rubber, which can be used for comprehensive performance such as abrasion resistance, impact resistance, tear resistance, aging resistance and high elasticity. The service life of the cushioning roller is 20 times higher than the economic benefit of the buffer bed.

 

Roller is buried in the material damage: belt conveyor and is expected to become available, not timely cleaning roller is buried in the material, material and roller friction resistance increases significantly, causing wear roller tube body and the acceleration of adhesive tape; The granule material of the roller is also used to grind the sealing ring of the roller to the bearing and the abnormal damage of the card dies. Clean the material in time to prevent the normal rotation of the roller.
